Liberty High School has engaged in a Language Exchange Tutorial Program with boarding schools in China for the past two years. Students have participated in on-line and Skype conversational tutoring two evenings a week. In the process, our students have developed phenominal relationships with students from China. After completing an application process, which is inclusive of an essay composition and a panel interview, 10 students were selected to travel to China and participate in the education experiences within our sister schools in China. The first group of students, escorted by Ms. Gina Schmidt, experienced a school outside of Bejing, China. This group will experience a school outside of Hong Kong, China. We invite both Liberty High School and the local community to come along on our travels.
