Application Process
A $50 fingerprint background check through the FBI will be required of every new employee.
STEP 1
Applicant files must be complete before a screening interview will be arranged. A completed file consists of:
A. A completed online application. Click here to view available positions and start the application process.
B. Uploaded resume, cover letter, and copy of transcripts.
C. Reference letters can be uploaded or sent directly to the human resources department.
**Please do not mail copies of your resume, cover letter, transcripts, certificate, or any college credential files.**

STEP 2
The Human Resources Office will contact selected applicants to schedule a screening interview.
STEP 3
Candidates will be selected and scheduled for additional interviewing. Candidates are chosen for finalist interviews by building level and Human Resources Office administrators.
STEP 4
The names of candidates recommended for employment will be placed before the Board of Education for final approval. The first hiring for the 20010-2011 school year is scheduled for February 2010. Interviews and recommendations will continue throughout the summer as positions become available. Please do not hesitate to contact us at (816) 736-5300 with any questions or concerns.
All teachers in the Liberty Public School District are required to be certified teachers by the State of Missouri. Information regarding certification may be obtained from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education at (573) 751-0051.
