LPS Retired Staff come back
On Thursday, March 25, 2010 Liberty Public Schools welcomed back over fifty familiar faces to the district as the annual "Retired Staff Luncheon" was held at the LPS District Administration Center.
In addition to eating an excellent lunch catered by the LPS Food Services staff, the group heard a 'State of the District' presentation from Superintendent Mike Brewer, asked state retirement and district-wide questions, and some even went home with a raffle prize.
"This event is a tremendous way of giving a little bit back to these great people and to say 'thank you' for what they've done for children," said Dallas Ackerman, LPS Director of Communications & Marketing. "To see alot of these people in attendence staying well after our event talking, laughing, having a good time.....that's what this is all about."
