March Character Trait Recipients Announced
The monthly HyVee Character Trait luncheon was held on Friday, March 11, 2011, at the new HyVee location in Liberty. This months recipients came from Lewis and Clark Elementary, Kellybrook Elementary, and South Valley Middle School.
Receiving recognition at the event were: Brandon Kwan (Lewis and Clark Elementary, Character Trait: Respect), Abby Wagner (Lewis and Clark Elementary, Character Trait: Responsiblity), Dylan Phillips (Kellybrook Elementary, Character Trait: Self-Discipline), Cassidy Williams (Kellybrook Elementary, Character Trait: Citizenship), Chris Seward (South Valley Middle School, Character Trait: Self-Discipline), and Julia Muchow (South Valley Middle School, Character Trait: Self-Discipline). LPS School Board member Lori Tritz introduced each student to the audience and presented them with certificates. Also in attendance were LPS building principals Kyle Palmer (Lewis and Clark), Kristin Havens (Kellybrook), and Jill Mullen (South Valley Middle School).
