SUMMER SCHOOL FULLY FUNDED BY THE STATE

The legislative session ended today and lawmakers decided to fully fund summer school for this year. For Liberty Public Schools this news means that we can continue with our Summer Adventure program as originally planned.
Due to this late decision coming from the state, those enrolled in summer school will now receive student information packets on the last day of school, June 3, 2010. Enrollment will continue through the summer session. To enroll visit the LPS district website for more information.
Liberty Public Schools values the important educational advantages of our summer program and are relieved to know this program will be available to all students within our district with no additional cost to parents.
Thank you again for your extreme patience and understanding as LPS has dealt with this unique challenge. We look forward to seeing all of our summer school students back at our schools beginning on Monday June 7!
