South Valley Middle School Rockin' Renaissance March Madness Research Celebration
During the months of February and March, the South Valley Middle School 7th grade Jedi and Samurai teams competed in a Rockin' Renaissance March Madness Research unit in social studies and communication arts. By researching, writing, and speaking about an infuential person during the Renaissance time period, students sharpened their skills in many areas.
On April 1, 2010 a celebration was held to show off their hard work during this event. Student work was on display for guests to enjoy and class champions were recognized in a special video displayed to the large group of students who also attended.
