- Kid's Zone
- Liberty Kid's Zone provides before and after school care in each elementary school. Kid's Zone begins at 6:30 a.m. and operates until school begins. Kid's Zone resumes in the afternoon when school is dismissed and is open until 6 p.m. A full day program is also available when school is closed. A site director, with college hours or experience with children, manages each site. All Kid's Zone staff receive CPR-FA training each year along with 12 hours of professional development classes. Kid's Zone lesson plans reflect a child's need to learn through play and choices after a full day of school. The goal of Kid's Zone is to provide a nurturing environment where children feel comfortable sharing and exploring. For more information, contact Debbie Ervay at 816-736-5378.
