Honoring Excellence recipients for January 2012 included LHS Senior Chelsea Ross, who was recently selected the Kansas City Star All-Metro Missouri Softball Player of the Year. Ross will be attending Oklahoma State University next fall on a softball scholarship. In addition, LHS Junior Conner Carr was honored for recently being selected the Fox 4 Reaching 4 Excellence feature. Carr recently won the state championship in the Animatronics division at the Technology Student Association's state event. Finally, the LPS Board of Education was recognized, as January 22-28 is reserved as School Board Recognition Week. LPS thanks all seven of our school board members for their service!
