LHS Under Brief Lockdown Today

Around 1:30 p.m., it was reported to Liberty Police that an incident at the Liberty Crossroads Apartments involved someone shooting out of an apartment window using a BB gun.  Because of the apartment’s close proximity to Liberty High School, the school went on lockdown.

It is district security procedure to lockdown a school when such an incident occurs.  Students were never in any danger, and the lockdown lasted approximately 20 minutes.

Thank you.
