Substitute General Information
As a substitute teacher you are an important part of our team in the Liberty Public School District. The Liberty School District employs substitute teachers to assist in the absence of regular classroom teachers, school nurses, and para-professionals/teachers aides. Pay Schedule: The Board of Education for the Liberty Public School District has set the rate of pay at $95.00 per day for substitute teachers who have at least 60 college hours.
Requirements: To be a substitute, you must have at least 60 college credit hours, have a substitute certificate from DESE and be interviewed by the Liberty School District.

- Copy of transcripts

Guidelines and Expectations:
The Liberty Public School District has high expectations for substitutes, including punctuality, appropriate behavior, professional dress and confidentiality.
