Mr. Langhorst was born in Howells, Nebraska in northeast Nebraska where he attended Howells High School. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduated in 1994 with a B.A. in education (Social Science Field and Coaching Endorsements). Between 1994 and 1999 he taught at Silver Lake Jr/Sr High School in Roseland, Nebraska. Classes taught at Silver Lake included: 8th grade American History, Nebraska History, World Geography, World History, Psychology, Government, strength and conditioning, boys jr high physical education. Eric moved to Newman Grove, Nebraska in 1999 to teach at Newman Grove Jr/Sr High School for two years were he taught the following classes: 8th grade American History, World History, World Geography. In 2001 he moved to Liberty and this year will be his fifth year teaching 8th grade American History at Liberty. For the first three years in the Liberty district he taught at Liberty Junior High School. In August of 2002 Eric recieved his masters degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis on Instructional Technology. In addition to teaching in Liberty, Eric is also on the faculty of Park University where he teaches a graduate course name "Technology for the Classroom".
