Keeper of the Tales

October 3 & 4, 2003

On October 3rd and 4th, the cast and crew presented the tale of Kamal, the blind beggar. Kamal helps a young princess, Maryam, learn what is really important in life. He does this, as most good teachers do, through telling stories. These stories are from that wonderful and historic collection known as 1001 Arabian Nights.

This production was a culmination of lessons on what is important. Our cast was challenged to work hard and pull together and they met that challenge admirably. I've directed many shows over the years, both in community and professional theatre, but I've never seen the enthusiasm and sheer joy these young people have for the stage. I hope you enjoyed the fruits of their effort.
