the Bill of Rights summary
form. Your teacher will print out the form for you.
Phase
2 – Issues of Today
Once your group has investigated
the Bill of Rights, begin identifying and researching issues of today.
Take notes as you research and create a list of issues of interest as
you investigate.

Identify three important issues that you
and your partner think should be protected. Remember that you may have
to compromise on what issues you would like to work on. Investigate and
analyze those issues and discuss ways that the issues could be protected.
Once
you have enough information, write new amendments or expand on existing
amendments to protect your rights and freedoms.
Phase
3 – Voting on the Amendments
Create
a power point slide show to explain the amendments or changes that would
you will to add to the Bill of Rights. Make your slide show powerful and
persuasive. Each group will present their show to the class. The class
will then vote on the three amendments
they would like to add to the Bill of Rights.
