It was reported today that another three amendments are going to be added to the Bill of Rights!

Congress has asked for our help in creating these amendments. We are going to research some controversial issues of today and see what amendments should be added to or expanded in the Bill of Rights. Remember, this affects you! What rights do you want protected?

1. Get into groups of two.
2. Explore web pages to discover information about the Bill of Rights.
3. Summarize the Bill of Rights using your own words or pictures.
4. Explore political web pages that list or discuss issues of today.
5. Research issues that are important to you and your partner.
6. Identify three current issues you feel are important and write new amendments or expand on existing amendments to protect those issues as the newest part of the Bill of Rights.
